"Buffalo Roam"- ORIGINAL WORK
The wide open skies of Southwestern Oklahoma at sunset are full of colors you have never seen. The brightest pinks, the deepest oranges and sometimes pops of purple. Its mesmerizing to watch the colors dance across the sky. When my son was in 1st grade his school went on a field trip to the Route 66 Bison Auction. It was fascinating to me, so see the bison so up close. We sat in the stands, sticking out I am sure, while the ranchers and cowboys placed the highest bid.
I can only imagine what it looked like when the buffalo did roam on the plains. Herds of them.
